DESCRIPTION: The Boston chapter of the Association of Internet Professionals was inagurated during the summer of 1997 at an informal meeting at the Hynes Convention Center following the annual Internet Expo, where many new members were recruited.
In March, 1998, the Boston chapter of the Webmasters' Guild, founded in June of 1995 and based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, amalgamated with and now forms the core of the AIP-Boston chapter. The chapter remains dedicated to educating, promoting, and unifying both the local and global Webmaster community. It provides an active forum for Web professionals in the greater Boston area to share information within and across all Internet disciplines.

DESCRIPTION: The Apple/Macintosh Computer Club of Manchester, also known as the "Apple Manchester Users Group" was formed in 1983 by a group of Apple enthusiasts and has grown to approximately 40 members, many of whom are teachers.
