From: Steven Allen To: Al Sherman Subject: Boston Windows User Group Meeting Rescheduled to 9/30 Date: Tuesday, September 28, 1999 5:09 PM Thursday, September 30, 1999 ---------------------------- Outlook as Your Personal Information Manager ============================================ Boston Windows User Group ------------------------- 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Speaker at 8:00 --------------------- Optimizing Outlook involves understanding the various components and using their integration with each other to organize it for yourself, such as junk mail filtering and incorporating several email accounts. Sandra Mueller, MCSE and a trainer, goes through the basics of each feature and shows the integration between them -- like dragging an email onto the calendar to make an appointment and using the built-in and custom views through field and column manipulation. Sandra demos a custom form to show the true possibilities of Outlook. We were not able to hold the meeting on 9/27 because of a power outage. Our appologies to all who tried - we found out too late.
