The meeting will take place at IBM, 404 Wyman Street, Waltham, MA. Directions are on the NEPUG web site. We're planning a holiday party. Stay tuned for more details! - Vendors: NEPUG needs you! If you are a vendor of Palm products, we can use your help. If you would like to donate prizes for upcoming meetings, please contact Michael Steinberg at mailto:mes@ne-palm.org. If you would like to participate in or sponsor our holiday party in Dec, please contact Evie Tse at mailto:eyt@ne-palm.org. - Can you provide rides to the Waltham meeting location? We understand that getting to Waltham is a problem because of the lack of "T" access. If you need a ride or can offer a ride, please visit the NEPUG web site. We are trying to coordinate rides. - Do you have access to a Canon Visualizer? What's a Canon Visualizer? It the device we use a most meetings that allows us to project the front of a Palm device over a video projection system. This web site provide a better description http://www.usa.canon.com/corpoffice/viscommeq/re350.html. We need an alternative source as soon as possible. If you can provide such a unit, please contact me. - Don't forget about the Message Board! I'm glad to see that people are taking advantage of the Message Board (http://www.ne-palm.org/message.htm). However, not many people answer the questions posted. This is a great tool, especially for those who can't make a monthly meeting. I encourage everyone to participate. - Special offer to Palm User Group members J&R computer World has a special offer for Palm Computing User Group Members. FREE Shipping on all Palm Computing Organizers, including the new Palm Vx organizer and Palm IIIe Special edition (clear) organizer. This special offer expires 11/15/99. Please call J&R Computer World @ 1-800-221- 8180 and reference promotion code: "J&RPALM". - What type of Palm book would you like to see next? I'm taking an unscientific survey. Have you been looking for a particular reference book related to using the Palm but have not been able to find it? Or have you found a book, but it was missing portions that you felt were very important. Would you buy a palm reference book if it was on CD instead of paper? How about if you could read it on your Palm device? Please e-mail me (mailto:mes@ne-palm.org) with your comments.
