The next meeting of the Greater Boston Visual Basic Learning User Group is at
7:00pm on Monday, May 17, at Microsoft, 6th floor, 230 Third Ave.,
Waltham MA.

This month's topic is "An Introduction to Using VB And The Windows API".

If you have either of the VB certification prep guides which we have used
in the past (Visual Basic 5 Exam Guide by Howard Hawhee - Que, or Visual
Basic 5 Certification Exam Guide by Mezick ad Hillier - McGraw-Hill) or any
comparable text, it would be a good idea to preread the relevent chapters
on the Windows API to help assimilate the topic. The topic is covered in the
Hawhee book in chapter 12. In the Mezick/Hillier book it is in part of
chapter 7 and chapter 13.
