Hi everybody.

This month's WebTech meeting will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 20
at the IBM SPC in Waltham.  Mark Colan from Lotus Development Corp. will
give a presentation on the InfoBus: New Features, New Directions.

Abstract:

|   InfoBus is a Java(TM) technology standard extension that               |
|   defines a standard means of exchanging data between cooperating Java   |
|   programming language applets, Beans, servlets, or any Java programming |
|   language classes. After a brief review of the purpose and programming  |
|   model, we will present new features added to InfoBus.                  |
|                                                                          |
|   In the near future InfoBus will be used to facilitate the development  |
|   of XML applications. The session will explore the role InfoBus will    |
|   play in processing data from XML documents for use in InfoBus-aware    |
|   components.                                                            |
