The system is designed to recognize equations based on pen input that can contain lowercase letters, digits, mathematical symbols, etc. For more information on this project, check out http://www.ai.mit.edu/projects/lv/projects/notebook/demo The Boston PDA Developer's Group is an organization of professional and non-professional programmers for various PDA platforms including Pilot and Newton.
