ITEM #1______________________ This is a revisit of our very popular October meeting topic. If you are a non-profit organization or a very small business, the chances are that you are using in-house people to design and maintain your web site. One of FrontPage's best features and most challenging ironies is that it empowers inexperienced web designers to create web sites very quickly. Many of these can be less-than optimal-looking... OK very ugly! We have all seen such sites but how do you prevent your web site from acquiring the "ransom note look" or the "pre-canned themes look". Come and get some pointers from the pros. Another presentation will deal with "How to make your web project fail". This will be a VERY candid presentation! ITEM #2_____________________ Who said that FrontPage is just for amateurs? NOT TRUE! Many high-profile web sites use FrontPage but they are so skillfully created that one would never assume that FrontPage was the authoring tool and that has created a very unfair stigma. On a personal note, one of our web hosting clients has a very professional-looking site and FrontPage is one of the in-house authoring tools. This client has a need to hire an experienced FrontPage webmaster so check out our JobRADAR site for details. The client is the New England Patriots so you may find the visit worth your time. http://www.webss.com/frontpageboston/jobradar.htm =============================== Directions and details at http://www.webss.com then click on FrontPage. ____________________________________________________________ Rick Zach http://www.websuperserver.com MetroWest Services, Inc.
