Date: Wed, 3 Feb 1999 12:21:09 -0500 (EST) From: Mary Hopkins Subject: MEETING 2/9 7:30 The next meeting of Boston Voice Users will be on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 7:30 p.m., in MIT room 2-135 (directions below). David Fox will be talking about Dragon and NaturallySpeaking macros. "I will lead a question-and-answer session on the Dragon Macro Scripting Language in DragonDictate and NaturallySpeaking Professional. The talk will be aimed at beginning to intermediate macro writers. (More advanced topics may be covered according to the audience interest and the time available.) I will begin with a brief introduction to the scripting language and explanations of a few sample macros, from simple to more complex. However, I will devote the bulk of the session to answering questions from the audience, so please come prepared." Notes will be posted on the Web after the talk, but they won't be there beforehand. QUESTION: Does anyone have a laptop w/ DD and NatPro on it that David can borrow to use for the talk? He'd like to have half an hour before hand to create a new DD user. If you're able to help out here, please contact David directly at: davidfox@fas.harvard.edu, or by phone at (617)495-4195. Directions to room: Go in the main door of MIT, at 77 Mass. Ave. Go straight down the Infinite Corridor for as long as you can. When forced to turn, go right. You'll pass one intersection decorated with murals of jungle animals, hallway to library on your left, stairs on your right. 2-135 is a couple of doors further along on the left. For wheelchair access: use the door at 33 Mass Ave, toward the River from the main door. There's a lift here.
