Next General Meeting The Next General meeting will be held on Tues, Aug 3, 1999 at 6:30PM at the Boston Public Library, 700 Boylston St, Boston, MA. Please note this is a date and location change. We will have a variety of presentations in including a new palm keyboard, A PC Expo follow up report and a new Trivia game for the Palm. As always, we'll open the floor to additional presentations. Don't forget a business card for the door prize drawing! By the way, the author of the Trivia game will be giving some copies away. He has also offered to sell his game to NEPUG members who attend the meeting for $10., instead of the normal price of $15. Sales will be cash or check only. For those who are driving, It is my understanding that if you park at the Copley Place Garage, then spend $5 in Copley Place (dinner, perhaps?) and get you parking ticket validated, parking in the garage is only $5. Otherwise, you'll pay around $20. You may want to contact Copley place to verify this. The BPL is then a 2-3 short blk walk down Exeter St. 2. AV equipment request We are not sure what AV equipment the Library has available. If you can provide a video projection unit, a Canon Visualizer (or similar system that will allow us to display the screen of a Palm via a video proj unit) or both, please contact Evie Tse right away! Evie's contact info is on the web site. 3. IBM still wants your opinion Recently, I mentioned that a group within IBM is conducting an internet survey on Mobile computing. If you would like to participate, please go to this web site: http://www.software.ibm.com/ucd/pervasive_may99.html This is a great chance to influence future product direction. Visit this site TODAY!
