Thanks to all who attended the march meeting I would like to thank everyone that came to our special March meeting held in Boston. I was unable to attend due to last minute business travel, but all the reports were very positive. Special thanks to the folks from 3Com Palm Computing for sponsoring the event. Thanks also to the other vendors who took the time to come in and show off their products. Finally, I really appreciate Steve Isenberg, our VP of Technology filling in for me on short notice, along with Evie Tse, our meeting VP, for their help. 3. Next General Meeting is April 29th - Special Date Mark Your PalmPilots! The next General Meeting will be held on Thurs, April 29th, 1999 at 6:30 PM. This is a special date because of the Patriots Day Holiday. The meeting will take place at IBM, 404 Wyman Street, Waltham, MA. The topic will be synchronization. Please see the web site for details. 4. NEPUG Message Board Launch In our on going attempt to provide services to all members, not just those in the Boston area, we are launching an Internet Message Board. We encourage all members to post questions, comments, suggestions, tips, etc on this board. You will find the board by clicking on the following link: http://www.ne-palm.org/message.htm 5. Reminder: NEPUG listserv I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that we also offer a listserv (or list service). This allows you to join a private mailing list via which you may trade questions, comments and more related to Palm Computing. For more information, please see the "news" section of the NEPUG web site. This service can also be accessed by all members, regardless of their location. 6. Call for Volunteers We Need You! The NEPUG is run by a small group of dedicated people. Everyone is a volunteer. We are looking for additional people to help out in many areas. Even if you can only spare a couple of hours a month, we can use you. For more info, see the web site or send an e-mail to mailto:execboard@ne-palm.org I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
