MacWoburn User Group http://www.blu.org/macwoburn ========== Need help with your new iMac or older Mac? Want to learn how to use your machine, solve a nagging problem or get ideas on how to use the computer more effectively? Please join us for our free user group meetings. MacWoburn is a user group designed to meet the unique needs of educators, students, and their parents. All levels of computer users are welcome. Meetings run from 7 PM to 9 PM at St. Charles School, 8 Myrtle St., Woburn. We meet in the Upper Building on the 3rd floor. We look forward to seeing you there. Each month we have a meeting on a specific topic with time afterwards for problem-solving and discussion. Please share this information with your friends and colleagues. To receive e-mail notices, send an e-mail to majordomo@blu.org with the message "subscribe MacWoburn." APRIL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT April 21: We'll get a good look at the new Creator 2 graphics program. We'll also do a live update of Mac OS 8.5. MAY MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT May 26: AlphaSmart keyboards. These keyboards store several word processing documents so they can be shared by students. The documents can be transferred to Mac or PC computers and printed out or uploaded to a web page. An inexpensive way to bring word processing to many.
