MEETING DAY & DATE: Wednesday, September 16, 1998 TIME: 6:15 PM HEADLINE: Reverse Engineering Requirements to Focus Software Testing SPEAKER: Johanna Rothman, Consultant and frequent conference presenter MORE INFO: John Pustaver, 978-443-4254, pustaver@swquality.com LOCATION: Waterfield Technology Group, 430 Bedford Street, Lexington DESCRIPTION: Since software projects do not always proceed like clockwork, it can be extremely worthwhile to use product and project requirements to drive the testing. These requirements are frequently not written down, so testers must develop and use their "sleuth" and observation talents in determining the requirements. This talk discusses techniques for eliciting requirements and creating test strategies for a given project. Johanna Rothman is a consultant with 15 years experience in software quality management. For more information, check out her web page at http://www.jrothman.com. NEXT MEETING NOTE: The next meeting will be held on October 21, 1998, the third Wednesday.
