The title of the event is "The Internet Past, Present and Future". The Community Tour highlights the interactive achievements of the city of Cambridge, specifically the large contribution the city of Cambridge made to the birth of the original Internet and its continuing contribution to the Interactive Industry. Governor Cellucci has proclaimed September 24th Internet Founders Day in Massachusetts and during the event the Mayor of Cambridge will honor some of the original Internet Founders who were major contributors. The event will take place at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and will include these four dynamic components: An awards presentation, by the Mayor of Cambridge, honoring some of the original pioneers of the Internet who laid the ground work for today's interactive industry 30 years ago Keynote address by David Wetherall, CEO of CMG An exciting panel of industry experts discussing the current state of the Internet and providing visions of the future of the Internet -Paul Gudonis, President, GTE Internetworking -Mary Cronin, Strategic Advisory Board, Mainspring -Evan I.
