Hi Everyone, Our next Access/Client Server user group meeting is scheduled for TONIGHT! (Wednesday, Sept. 9th) at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Nashua, NH (directions below). Please accept our apologies for this late announcement. It snuck up on us! We'd like to see you there as we're putting together our plan for the next few months. WE want to know what YOU want to know so YOUR participation is critical. What database servers would you like to see presented (Oracle, Sybase, SQL, etc.). What parts about building a Client/Server application do you need help on? Also, on the Access side, we're not sure how many people caught the news "blurb" on the internet a few weeks ago about the Access "Bug". The headline from MSNBC read "A serious bug has surfaced in Access 97 that can potentially corrupt user databases without most users being aware of it. Users report the bug affects Access 2, Access 95, and Access 97." We're going to look at the "bug" problem tonight and show you how it occurs and how to avoid it! For your own information visit this weblink: http://odyssey.apana.org.au/~abrowne/BugBookmark.html Here's the agenda for Wednesday night: Announcements: 5:30 - 6:30 PM Plans for future meetings! We'll be asking for volunteers and looking for suggestions. Need a job, have a job? Stand Up and be heard- general announcements, suggestions, etc. What do you want to see next month? Any volunteers? 6:30 - 7:30 PM The Access 97 Bookmark Bug Presented by: Rick Lunetta of Luna Systems rickl@lunasystems.com 7:30PM - whenever Question and Answers!
