While I am out of town next week, we are fortunate to have outstanding
presenters for our Microsoft Office and VB Learn user groups. The group
meetings listed below are at Microsoft, 6th floor, 9 Hillside Ave., Waltham
MA. Meetings begin at 7:00pm. All are free, open to the public, and require
no pre-reservation.

Sandra A. Mueller, an experience trainer with PDG, presents "Microsoft
Office Templates." Get the scoop on: Word document templates; Excel
worksheet and workbook templates. Learn how to use them. See how to create a
toolbar button to open a template. Even add custom controls to templates.
 
Heads up on the June meeting: We may be flip-flopping meeting nights with
the FoxPro user group to the fourth Wednesday for one month only. Watch for
the e-mail June meeting announcement for confirmation.

"Preview of Visual FoxPro 6.0"
 
The past few years have seen significant changes in the way applications are
developed and the range of solutions developed with database application
tools has broadened dramatically. The convergence of client/server and the
Web promises dramatic new opportunities for savvy businesses. Robert Green,
Visual FoxPro Product Manager, will discuss how Visual FoxPro 6.0 is, and
will continue to be, a great tool for FoxPro developers who want to move
forward to 32-bit Windows, to integrate client/server and the Web, and to
build component-based applications.
 
Door-prizes include a copy of Visual Studio 97 Enterprise Edition.
