We will discuss the features of the system, a brief overview of how the technology works in simple English, considerations for mixing and post production, how to monitor the mix properly, the reality of DVD in the consumer market, the current trend in music on DVD and where Dolby Digital fits into the picture, what you need to do to get ready for Digital TV broadcasting later this year. We will close with a Q and A time and can alter the time spent on various topics above based on the makeup of the audience. About the Speaker: Jim Hilson has been with Dolby Labs for over eight years. He has been involved in the audio for the 1996 Summer Olympics for NBC, The Superbowl for ABC and FOX, Baseball for ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX, NFL football for CBS and TNT, has both mixed and consulted for NFL on FOX.
