Subject: VBLearn meeting June 15

Special thanks are due to Pat Tormey for filling in last month. You can put
the word out the files for his presentation www.foursquare.com. Follow the
path to "From the Classroom."

Our next meeting is on Monday, June 15 at 7:00pm, at Microsoft, 6th floor,
230 Third Ave (same location we used to refer to as 9 Hillside Ave.),
Waltham MA. The core of the presentation is on "Error Handling, Debugging,
and Application Distribution." Prepare by reading chapters 6 and 7 in the
Mezick/Hillier book, or chapters 19 and 20 in the Howard Hawhee book.

We previously mentioned the errata sheet for the Mezick/Hillier book at
http://www.vb-bootcamp.com/HTML/books.htm. Now, thanks to out to the hard
work of a local user Bruce Plate and his co-worker for compiling and
providing us with an errata sheet for the Hawhee book. Bring a diskette to
the meeting to make a copy of the the Word 6 document. I am hoping to have a
Web site available soon to allow downloads of such resources. Bruce took the
VB5 Exam and informed me that if you go assimilate the Hawhee book (taking
into account the errata), you will pass the exam.
