He will focus on some of the changes that make administration of a SQL Server 7 more manageable and show how enhancements to Transact-SQL make it easier to be used in the development environment. Other additions such as Distributed query and Data Transformation Services make SQL 7 attractive to be used under a heterogeneously scattered data environment. Also how these and many other enhancements warrant a serious consideration that this product be used in Data Mart solutions. Sunil Kadimdiwan has been providing apt software based business solutions since 1985. Has has worked on various MS SQL Server based projects since 1993. Over the last 2 years, working as an independent consultant, he's been instrumental in building a successful Data Mart on SQL Server (40GB+) using SAP R/3 data. He has been associated with companies such as Corporate Software & Technology (former division of Stream Intl), EMC Corp, Iron Mountain, and Empowering Solutions, Inc.
