Subject: January meeting

The Greater Boston FoxPro User Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of the
month at Microsoft, 6th floor, 9 Hillside Ave., Waltham. Meetings start at
7:00pm.
 
This month's meeting is on Wednesday, January 28. In the main presentation
Bill Budney shows how to construct a Web site using the Web Connect add-on
for Visual FoxPro. We have seen a couple of overviews of sites created with
Web Connect. This demonstration drills down more deeply into the mechanics
of the product.
 
In addition to Bill's presentation, we are showing the half hour "Power of
Visual FoxPro part II" videotape prepared by the Fox marketing team. It
contains: portions of the keynote address at October's DevCon; scenes from
DevCon; discussion of major projects created with VFP; preview information
on the next version of VFP code-named Tahoe; and more.
