JavaOne = 14,000 software developers = Hmm, something mighty powerful is
happening!

I have a complete set (every book) for VB 4, (most) for VB5, (all) the
VBScript and (some) C++ books to give away. My favorite group is NESOFTDEV
and we are sort of self-empowered. So I would like to give them to your
favorite group. Just have them call me. This is a serious library so don't
let it slip by if you know of some group who can use them.

Woh, Addison-Wesley decides it has taken too long to get the door prize
books to the lucky few so they ship a new set of books so now they will
have two copies. Maybe they will bring the extra books to the book swap
this month! Plus, I got a whole bunch of books some of which I will put out
on Tuesday and others I will raffle as door prizes in May and June. Talk
about supporting User Groups.

And, would you believe it?  O'Reilly is going to give us 20% off any of
their books. Make sure you come to the meeting to find out how.

MEETING:
5:30-6:30 P.M. BOOK GIVEAWAY -- a session just for the April meeting.

Clean out your shelves of all the books you have not used in the past 2
quarters (providing there in good shape) and give them to others who can
use them. Just put them on the tables going into the cafeteria. Make sure
you tell others that this opportunity exists too. Books are way too
expensive so here is your chance to help out or to pick up that book you
didn't get otherwise.

	Jason Purdy of Stingray Software www.stingray.com is doing the JavaBean
Overview. He is a really neat guy so we should have some fun and get all
your questions answered. This is suitable for intro and advanced
programmers. And, I took a look at the raffle: 3 product giveaways! Yippie!
I am going to show him around in the afternoon. Anybody know of any good
things going on next Tuesday?
