Date: Sat, 25 Apr 1998 08:39:24 -0400 From: Ray Bradley To: CONE , Craig Rabe Subject: [Fwd: *CONE* April 28th Meeting - let me know if you are attending] Just a note to update everyone on our meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at 6:45PM. We're privileged to have the opportunity to have Craig Rabe, founder and "Master Chef" of The Computer Cafe speak to us about evolving trends in internet connectivity, and to demonstrate the new broadband cable technology we have all seen advertised on TV. A veteran of the computer industry, and the author of "Bytes From the Cafe", a regular column in "The Arlington Advocate", Craig has founded a unique business. In addition to the comfortable atmosphere where computers are available by the hour, supplying access to the internet and email for travelers and shoppers, The Computer Cafe offers training at all levels from free internet familiarization courses to intensive hands-on training on the many popular software applications in use in business today (at reasonable prices). And if you are in the market for a new computer, he can show you what's available and configure one that's the best for your needs. The atmosphere is much like a cafe - comfortable, and often bustling with people from the local community discussing the latest technology and getting tips on how to use it. All in all, I think this will be a very interesting meeting. As with all CONE meetings, it is open to all, and free of charge. We would like to get a head count to be sure the demonstration can bee seen by all, so please let us know if you think you will be there. Visit their website at http://www.compcafe.com .
