That's less than one week before Microsoft abandons support for Windows XP; if you have friends who haven't yet moved up to something better, this is a great week to invite them to our FOSS User Group meeting. If you or they will need a good USB2.0 flash drive with an activity light, (just the thing for installing or testing Linux distros!), this week Radio Shack has a sale on the Sandisk Cruzer Glide series, 8GB @ $7 and 16GB @ $10. Bring one along, and go home with a beta Ubuntu 14.04 to try out in memory.) Hot on its heels, there's a good (and free) Northeast GNU/Linux Fest, this Saturday in Cambridge.
