Linux/Unix and Windows Inter-operability – Making Linux/Unix and Windows Play Nice

Ever been frustrated getting Linux or Unix and Windows systems to play nice on your network?
Truth be told, most enterprises do. Today's heterogeneous networks with a mix of Linux, Unix,
or Windows have a host of interoperability headaches to resolve. This presentation will arm you
with the knowledge of technologies to facilitate interoperability between Linux and Windows file sharing,
printing, directory services and more. All the tools exist to make these unlikely bedfellows connect in peace.

Speaker Bio:

Joseph Guarino is a Sr. Consultant/Owner at Evolutionary IT which provides Business and Information Technology solutions.
From small startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, Evolutionary IT has been providing Business/IT solutions
for over 15 years to the New England area and beyond.  On his free time you will find him
writing/teaching/speaking on security/marketing/general business topics, supporting numerous
non-profits.
Where?

We will be meeting at New England Rehabilitation Hospital on 2 Rehabilitation Way in Woburn, MA
in the NE room near the cafeteria. The receptionist can point you in the right direction;
or follow the BNUG signs.

Refreshments are served from 6:30 pm. Meeting starts at 7:00pm with the technical presentation
concluding at 9:00 pm.
