The cloud provides processing power in bulk for use in almost any way needed. This talk will demonstrate how to bridge the two to provide cloud based scalability in batch processing. About the presenter: Michael Minella is a software engineer, teacher and author with over a decade of enterprise development experience. Michael is a member of the expert group for JSR-352 (java batch processing). He currently works for VMware as the project lead for Spring Batch as well as an instructor at DePaul University. Michael is the author of Pro Spring Batch from Apress, the popular Refcard JUnit and EasyMock and was a technical reviewer for Struts 2 Web Application Development by Dave Newton.
