Our BelManage system is used by small and large organizations such as Agfa Healthcare, AIG, Catholic Relief Services, Dana, Defense Logistics Agency, FAA, Holcim, Kindred Healthcare, NASA, Sungard, Travelers, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Unilever, WebMD/Emdeon, and many more. It is particularly useful for organizations with multiple distributed locations, roaming laptops and anyone wanting to automate the collection of accurate, up to date configuration data. Gary Newman and Sumin Tchen will present the architecture and technology behind this system. Gary Newman has over 25 years of experience (engineering and engineering management) with leading technology firms such as Eastman Kodak (Sr. Director Advanced Development, imaging and color technologies), Lucasfilm (Sr. Engineer, R&D, PIXAR image computer), Ampex (Adv. Tech. Div., professional audio and video equipment), Picture Element Ltd. (Dir. New Product Dev., digital TV prototyping systems), and XMX (Sr. Dir., high speed electronic color printing). In addition, Gary holds ten US patents. Gary has a B.S.E.E. from Lafayette College and a M.S.E.E. from the University of Illinois. Sumin Tchen has over 25 years of experience (sales, marketing and senior management) in building successful early stage technology firms, such as Computer Controls Corp. (founder, EVP, President; building control systems), Eliza (founder; telephony-based voice recognition technology), ProcessTech (US sales manager; dynamic modeling software) and Adaptive Networks (VP Sales and Mkt.; LANs over AC power lines).
