The MacTechGroup holds meetings for Macintosh programmers on the first Wednesday of each month at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

Next Meeting:
Feb 2 2010 7:00 PM Building E51 Room 315 MIT Sloan School

Wreck a Nice Beach

This month we'll look at what it takes to get real speech recognition on your iPhone/iPad.  Dragon Dictation has opened up its SDK for Mobile Developers, and we'll take a look at just what you need to use it, why you might want to use it, and what's involved.  We'll also try to check out how good it works.

Note: I haven't yet gotten approval on the room, so the room might change - we'll try to send out an email in time.  If not, look for a sign outside the door of 315 pointing you to where we are.

You can get a map showing building E51 at

The MacTechGrp always meets the first Wednesday of the month. (Sometimes I screw up the date of the notice, but it's always the first Wednesday)

You can get more information on the MacTechGrp and directions at  Sometimes even the meeting announcements are up to date.
