See how to quickly and easily build Access forms and reports using built-in Wizards. Learn about helpful resources that can get you up to speed quickly. INTERMEDIATE ***************************************************************** Intro. To VBA, Part 5 of 5 - DAO Recordsets -- 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Presented by: Dean Serrentino of Paradigm Information Systems, Inc. After covering rudimentary error handling and debugging tools, Dean will conclude the series with a discussion on working with recordsets in code. DAO recordsets allow the developer to manipulate table data in ways that are not possible with queries alone. A laptop computer (not supplied) is needed to participate, but all are welcome to attend. ***************************************************************** Access Trauma Center -- 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Presented by: John Giuliano of Stone-Crowne Associates We'll spend an hour helping to debug, add enhancements, or make design recommendations. The audience is encouraged to bring in real world developer problems that need solving now. Bring your applications on flash drive, CD, or laptop. DEVELOPER ***************************************************************** Introduction To SQL Server -- 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM Presented by: John Giuliano of Stone-Crowne Associates In this session, we will work exclusively with SQL Server 2005 and the tools that are available to manage it. The focus of this series is to enable Access developers to design client-server applications using Access as the user interface. ***************************************************************** General Announcements and Forum -- 6:15 PM - 6:30 PM Presented by: John Giuliano of Stone-Crowne Associates Share information regarding upcoming events, Access bugs, add-on products, and anything else that affects the world of the Access developer. ***************************************************************** Developer Application: AccessDB Runner -- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM Presented by: Keith Bombard of Albano Systems Keith Bombard of dbAutosoft Inc., will demonstrate his Access application which runs in parallel with a developer's Access objects. The product assists the developer in setting up, testing and maintaining complex sequences of data processing steps, such as importing data, scrubbing it, report creation, and dozens of other tasks. Once set up, the execution of these sequences can be initiated by consultants, computer facility personnel, and even by experienced end users. Variable parameters, such as dates, can easily be passed in. The product generates and maintains logs of steps completed, errors, etc. News and Announcements...
