From: Capalbo George Nicholas Date: July 4, 2008 Subject: iPhone 3G LAUNCH COUNTDOWN at BOSPDAUG, July 8th, MIT 3-133 iPhone 3G LAUNCH COUNTDOWN at BOSPDAUG,  July 8th, MIT 3-133 On Tuesday July 8th at 7pm, MIT room 3-133, the Boston PDA User's Group presents a discussion of general and unexpected PDA topics.  The meeting is free, and open to all users of handheld and PDA technology. July 11th, the new iPhone 3G launches, and this coming Friday promises to be even a bigger pandemonium than the initial launch of the iPhone last June.  If you're not already sleeping in line in front of the Apple Store, waiting to buy a new iPhone on Friday-- but perhaps are thinking about doing so-- or you already have in iPhone 1.0, and you are thinking of upgrading-- you'll want the lowdown on pricing, new features, a new registration policy and many other changes coming in the 2.0 version of iPhone this Friday, June 11th.  If so, come to BOSPDAUG this Tuesday, July 8th, where we will have a comprehensive look at the latest news, worldwide service plans, features, updates, and late breaking action-- as well as a thorough walkthrough of the iPhone interface, presented by Bospdaug's own Kris Noland.  As always, our resident team of PDA experts has its finger on the pulse of the evolving pda-smartphone convergence. We can answer almost any question about the care and feeding of nearly any handheld platform, including iPhone, Pilot, Symbian, Danger, Nokia, Pocket PC and Newton. The Boston PDA User's Group is an organization made up of those who choose to walk freely among us with handheld, palmtop and wireless computers.  Formed in 1992, its goal is to connect with the newest and coolest mobile computer technology.  BOSPDAUG meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month at MIT in Cambridge MA in MIT room 3-133 at 7pm, and welcomes users of all PDA platforms for lively discussions of handheld and PDA technologies.          For a map and directions to MIT 3-133, see the map below, or check out our website at http://www.bospdaug.org.
