Next week (October 18th) Michael Yuan will present JBoss Seam to the group at
the
Burlington Sun Campus.  As always, networking starts at 5pm, pizza will arrive
somewhere around 5:30pm, and the meeting will begin at 6pm.

During the last 2 months I have been looking more carefully at JBoss Seam and
have
been very impressed with how it removes the need to create and manage Hibernate
configuration files.  It also has many interesting hooks to support creation of
JSF pages
using AJAX and Facelets.

It is a wonderful opportunity that we have for Michael Yuan the JBoss Seam
project leader and
author of the book "JBoss Seam: Simplicity and Power Beyond Java" to discuss
Seam
and help us learn more about this exciting new technology.  So register now and

Looking forward to the November 8th meeting, Reza Rahman the author of "EJB3 in
Action" will compare EJB3 with Spring.  This presentation should be of interest
for
anyone working with EJB or who is trying to decide between EJB and Spring for
