Regular expressions are powerful string search tools that are available in many
programs and platforms including Java, Perle, .NET, and UNIX. VFP9 provides
access to regular expressions through a foundation class library wrapper to
Windows Script host. In this session we start out with an overview of regular
expressions. Then we tackle a couple of data cleansing and transformations that
I have benn tasked to perform at work and which lend themselves to regular
expression handling.
