PC speech recognition let’s you dictate at your desk directly into your word processor but, what if you don’t work at your desk? DNS allows you to transcribe dictation made on some digital portable recorders that are small enough to fit in your pocket. You can dictate even when there is no desk for a computer. DNS 9 will be used in the demonstration. Also, for those interested in a new job, PCA, a Natick, Mass. company is expanding. Mr. Cohen is accepting resumes from people who are interested in implementing speech recognition solutions nationwide. Basic requirements include installing and training. Previous experience performing software training is preferred. Advanced script programming or Dragon SDK preferred. Travel required. PCA is a MEDITECH Preferred Integrator and a Nuance Gold Certified Solutions Provider. Turn left, follow this corridor to the intersection of buildings 6, 2 and the corridor to the library (the corridor decorated with murals of jungle animals). Turn right and follow the corridor to room 2-135. You can also get in from building 14 (the library) or Building 8. For wheelchair access, there is a ramp and door to the left of the stairs at 77 Mass. Ave. (behind the bus stop) This entrance gives you basement level access to the elevator in Lobby 7 (the lobby at 77 Mass. Ave).
