If it's not already there, mark Wednesday, August 23 on your calendar as
"busy". You'll be at the August BFPUG meeting starring Ted Patrick, Flex
Evangelist, flying in from Adobe headquarters. Ted will give us an
overview of Flex 2, what's new, answer questions, etc. Even if you are
just starting out with Flash, and have no idea what Flex is all about, I
think this is going to be a great session to attend.

As is our tradition with out-of-town speakers, we'll be extending the
festivities to an after-meeting party, probably at Flan OBrien's again,
unless someone has a better idea.

It's also the 10th birthday for Flash, and we're going to do something
to celebrate. I hear we have some Flash cookies coming, and we'll get
some other goodies too. We have $200 coming from Adobe for the party,
but need to decide how we'll spend it. So if anyone has any ideas, and /
or wants to do some shopping, speak up.
