It consists of a class library, GUI layout editor and internationalization tools. QGIS (Quantum Geographic Information System) is a cross-platform open source project using Qt. Today's talk by Tom Elwertowski will provide an overview of Qt, show how it's used in a real-world application and discuss some Qt/Mac-specific issues. QT is a very hot technology right now, and is being used by many of the top names in software engineering, including Macintosh developers. ************************ NOTE ROOM INFORMATION ************************ We've been reassigned a new room, 372 (for the winter).
