The focus will be less on "here's what you could do" and will instead seek to point out "here are some of the specific settings you need to know." This will be a technical demonstration showing cause and effect of specific settings as applied by Group Policy. We'll also cover some of the more little-known facts about how Group Policy works behind the scenes, and the tools and documentation available to help make planning a less Sisyphean task. Managing Windows Servers and Clients - Mike Eisenberg of Altiris During this session Michael Eisenberg, Systems Engineer for Altiris Inc. will discuss the current state of Windows management tools. He will focus on the evolution of the Windows management space from individual utilities to the more robust suites of tools becoming available today. During the presentation Mike will use Altiris’s tool set as an example to highlight the benefits that an integrated set of tools can bring to and organization.
