Project productivity and application support benchmark data will be provided that is based on an industry database of over 8,740 recently completed (2001-2004) projects and 6,330 maintenance support applications. The speaker will also discuss the potential for software process performance improvement through the implementation of best software practices. David Garmus is a past President of the International Function Point Users Group (IFPUG) and a member of QAI, PMI (and the Information Systems Specific Interest Group) and the IEEE Computer Society (and their Standards Association).
