Subject: WebTech Tues 1/20 7pm Waltham - New Java Features

Hi everyone, and happy new year!

I apologize for the late notice for this month's WebTech meeting, which
will be Tuesday 1/20, 7pm at the IBM SPC in Waltham.  Directions are
available at http://www.acm.org/chapters/webtech.

Instead of having a single designated expert this month, everyone is
invited to bring their own expertise and their own curiosity for an open

discussion on the recent and upcoming features of the Java platform.
The particular features we discuss will be based on attendee interest,
and may include such things as JSP 2.0, Java Generics (parameterized
types), metadata enhancements, etc.

The Java landscape is still changing at an amazing rate, and this is a
great opportunity to share your opinions, expertise, and questions.  I
hope to see you there.

As usual, everyone is invited for dinner at the Green Papaya before the
meeting (from 5:30 to 6:45) and for snacks and conversation at the
DoubleTree after the meeting (from 9:00 on).  Let me know if you can
make it for dinner.
