Specifically, he'll demonstrate generating RSS news information from popular FoxPro news sites, and show how that information can be consumed as a web service or with plain http commands. If you've ever needed to share text information between two workstations over the internet, here are some techniques to consider. 2) Software Licensing: there's a lot of confusion in the industry on the significance and meaning of many licensing terms. While Ted is not a lawyer, he has spent a significant amount of time studying the various "open source" licenses, public domain, "shared source" licensing, and various Microsoft End-user License Agreements (EULAs), and, as always, has an opinion to share. Tune in for what promises to be a spirited discussion! ************************************************************************ *** 3) Great Lakes Database Conference price break deadline Sept 12 ************************************************************************ Just a couple of quick reminders....
