As part of our program of showing how "regular people" use their Palm-OS devices, Boston attorney Forrest Milder will demonstrate and talk about his experiences with about a dozen applications on his Sony Clié NR70V, including Mega Launcher, Wordsmith, AcidImage, Kinoma, Pocket TV Browser, the Wine Guide, Zagat's, and the Blazer web browser. He will also show a collection of his own photos, maps, movies, and documents that he stores on the Sony. If there's time and interest, he can also show some of his favorite utilities, such as PiDirect and Filez, how various other programs appear on the high-res color screen, such as the Acrobat reader, DateBook 5, and various calculators and spreadsheets, and finally, the Sony keyboard. Forrest is also chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, and he has owned many Palm devices over the past several years.
