(secure by default, secure by design... aka many key services are turned off and left off until authorized). The implications are far reaching and some are quite unexpected. http://www.windowsboston.com/default.htm#nextmeet <=== details 2) NFR server software pickups Some members could not make it to our June 4th NFR server software distribution date due to being at TechEd and other reasons. We will have two final attempts at a late delivery: a) The preferred method is to simply attend our meeting on August 6th in person. Your voucher number and $20 dues are required (either by PayPal which was prepaid or by check on site.. no cash please) and if not delivered at the meeting... b) we have lined up volunteers in six disbursed geographic areas to assist with distribution on a one-to-one basis. If you have not already signed up for your second change for delivery, please do so at: http://www.windowsboston.com/launch.htm 3) A peek at the future meetings Both Exchange 2003 and MS Office 2003 will be rolling out very soon. We will be playing a supporting role but not the leading roll with these events so please watch this listserv for more details as they unfold. Small Business Server 2003 will debut soon and we will be heavily co-promoting that event with the SBS group. Still another future meeting will be a "Windows Server 2003 Loadfest" for hands-on installation training using YOUR computer (No 6' VAX's please). Stay tuned, more to come. ______________________________________________________ Boston User Groups, Inc. BostonUserGroups.com (http://www.BostonUserGroups.com) is our user group web "portal."
