Ken Levy, Microsoft VS Data Product Manager, will be presenting the latest
news for Visual FoxPro.  Ken will also discuss and demo Visual FoxPro 8.0 along
with VFP 8.0 working with VS .NET 2003.  Ken will also show demos and discuss
Europa (next version of VFP) and Whidbey (next version of Visual Studio .NET).
 In addition, Ken will show some exciting demos of the new XML/XSLT

3:30 - 4:00pm XML Tools for Visual Studio .NET (Ken Levy)
Ken Levy, VS Data Product Manager, will demo the new XML/XSLT editor for
Visual Studio .NET. The WebData XML tools team, in collaboration with VS Data
team, has created a new XML editor with XSLT debugger that will be included
Whidbey. This new XML editor validates with smart IntelliSense with error messaging
in the source and VS .NET IDE Task List any XML document based on standard the
XML document definition as well as either a defined XSD schema or DTD. The
new XML editor also supports full debugging of XSLT documents with graphical and
source output integrated within the Visual Studio .NET IDE. New features also
include a unique plug-in open architecture for viewers/designers of XML
source documents using a .NET WinForm class for graphical display and editing of
XML file types such as Web.Config, WSDL, XSD, RESX, and more. This session will
be nearly all demo based including real world scenario driven examples of how
these new XML tools help increase productivity when developing with XML Web
services using Visual Studio .NET.
