The Sony PDAs have gotten good reviews from a number of sources, but they need to include Macintosh software in the box, so we should show up in large numbers to drive the point home that Mac users are a market force. SONY's CLIE GROUP TO PRESENT at BOSTON PDA DEV MEETING SEPTEMBER 24th at MIT On Tuesday, September 24th at 7:00pm at MIT, room 3-133, the Boston PDA Developers Group presents a forum open to developers of all PDA platforms. At the September meeting representatives of Sony's CLIE group will be presenting to the group new Sony CliE devices as well as a discussion of how the new devices will address the needs of enterprise & consumer users. Topics to be covered include security, e-mail & internet access, new message notification options, new color screens and the Sony Memory Stick. One Sony Device will be raffled off at the meeting along with numerous other giveaways from Sony & Palm! This promises to be an exciting evening, and a great chance to find out what is happening in the Palm computing world, direct from the source. The Boston PDA User's and Developer's Group is an organization of professional and non-professional programmers and hardware designers for various PDA platforms including Pilot and Newton. Our resident cabal of developers, responsible for many well known shareware and vertical applications for Pilot, Newton and other platforms are a ready knowledge base for your PDA development questions.
