From: "Owen Hartnett" To: Subject: [Cone-cal] MacTechGrp Meeting - July 3, 2002 Date: Saturday, June 29, 2002 11:56 PM MacTechGrp Meeting July 3, 2002 7-9PM Room 315 Bldg E51 MIT Sloan School Topic: RADicode from enjazz Manuel Barros from enjazz will be presenting a tool that will convert REALBasic programs directly into Metrowerks Codewarrior compatible code. Here's a description of their product: RADicode is a rapid application development tool that leverages REALbasic's powerful GUI building capabilities to create fully functional PowerPlant interfaces. Simply drag and drop a REALbasic project file onto its icon and watch RADicode instantly churn out well organized and documented source files, resources, and projects. The generated code is reliable and maintainable: and follows PowerPlant's best practices, conventions, and guidelines. In addition, RADicode creates a single point of development for OS X, OS 9, and 68K. It can be invaluable for carbonizing your applications. Simply re-execute your UI in REALbasic, run it through RADicode, and reintegrate your existing application logic. Note: The room number is officially 395, but we often move to a room with a better projector, which has been room 315 for some time. So now I am just going to announce 315, if we're not in there, continue to the next rooms to the right until you find us. Alternately, I still leave a note on the blackboard in room 395, so just dereference that. You can get a map showing building E51 at The MacTechGrp always meets the first Wednesday of the month.
