Next Tuesday, January 15th, 2002 - Database expert
Burton King presents.

Database consultant Burton King, MCSE/MCDBA, will
start the New Year off by focusing on FrontPage
database functionality.  This discussion will
introduce relational database concepts and
techniques and then demonstrate using databases with
Front Page 2002.  We will be utilizing SQL Server
2000 for our demonstration and relating that to
Access, Microsoft's desktop database application.

This discussion will be directed towards individuals
with beginning to intermediate levels of database
knowledge.

If you haven^Òt heard, or visited our web recently
for updates, this is your final warning before you
get off on the wrong exit off RT128 next Tuesday.
Microsoft is no longer there.  Following are
the ^Óofficial^Ô directions to their new facility:

>From Downtown/Airport: Follow 1-93 South to 1-90
West (Mass Turnpike). Mass Turnpike West to Exit 15
(1-95/Rte 128 North).  I-95/Rte 128 North to Exit 26
(Route 20 - first exit North of Mass Turnpike).
Follow Route 20 East through first stoplight.  Take
next left turn on Stow Street (following signs for
Route 117).  Take left at Main Street (Route 117)
stoplight, and take second left onto Jones Road.
Waltham Weston Corporate Center is located at the
end of Jones Road (201 Jones Road).

>From the South:  I-95/Rte 128 North to Exit 26
(Route 20 - first exit North of Mass Turnpike).
Follow Route 20 East through first stoplight.  Take
next left turn on Stow Street (following signs for
Route 117).  Take left at Main Street (Route 117)
stoplight, and take second left onto Jones Road.
Waltham Weston Corporate Center is located at the
end of Jones Road (201 Jones Road).

>From the North:  I-95/Rte 128 South to Exit 26
(Route 20).  Continue on rotary following signs for
Route 20 East through first stoplight.  Take next
left turn on Stow Street (following signs for Route
117).  Take left at Main Street (Route 117)
stoplight, and take second left onto Jones Road.

Changing of the Guard

This is my last meeting as Chair of Boston
FrontPage.  It has been just over two years since
I replaced Rick Zach. (Does anyone realy replace
Rick Zach?) Rick as you may know moved over to Chair
the Windows2000 Server group and also helped create
www.BostonUserGroups.com, the umbrella/hub for all
User groups in the Boston area.

Replacing me as Chair of Boston FrontPage will be
Mr. Richard Bezjian.

Richard has been involved with User Groups from
their early days when the BCG started holding its
meetings at MIT in the late Seventies. He is a
Veteran in the Computer industry and listed in the
Who^Òs Who of Software.

He currently is the founder and president of
Boomerang Software, Inc. of Belmont Massachusetts.
In a recent collaboration with Microsoft, Boomerang
Software developed the ^ÓTotal E-Commerce Solution
for FrontPage^Ô, which has given Mr. Bezjian a close
working relationship with many FrontPage users.

I will, along with Rick Zach and Brad Dinerman,
continue to serve in the background on the Boston
FrontPage Board of Directors, but look forward to
being more active in my role as Vice President,
