Date: Fri, 5 Apr 2002 10:51:00 -0800 From: Pipeline Subject: Meeting of Access/VB User Group at Pease Tradeport WHAT: Meeting of Seacoast Microsoft Access and Client/Server User Group (FREE) Program - Problems with your data? Tired of double entry of data? Data in the wrong place? Triage is an important part of our sessions - what's wrong with the crazy thing - bring your problems and issues. Any web-based applications out there? Or maybe an enterprise solution using a variety of products? Tom Trainer will not be able to present his neat ideas on making applications with that professional look - maybe next month. Although there are many schedule systems on the market, we have not seen any that were integrated with a database. We can demo a visual schedule system integrated with a database that was recently completed and checked out with a detached database using ADO - we can demonstrate how it works with an Access backend or a SQL Server backend (MSDE). Have you used Add-Ins to update an application that has been distributed? Jim Rand demonstrated one for Access a few months ago, and we just set one up for Excel - a nice idea revisited. By the way, your problems or discussion take precedence over the program - no problem is too small - that's what a user group is for.
