Mark Colan from IBM did a great job with his presentation on Web Services. We had a record turnout this time. Once Mark sends me the slides I will post them on the April Calendar page. Many thanks to Apex Consulting Group for the pizza and water, and to Addison-Wesley for supplying us with Java books for the raffle. Also thanks go to Sun for the use of the room and facilities for the meeting. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 17th at the Sun Campus in Burlington from 6pm to 8pm. The infamous Ken Arnold from Sun will be discussing Jini Technology. This will be a great sneak-preview of what will be presented at the JavaOne conference this year in terms of the Jini Technology. As most of you know, Ken Arnold is the co-author with James Gosling of the book The Java Programming Language, and is one of the original lead architects for the Jini technology.
