Subject: Special FrontPage meeting next Tuesday

We have had many requests to cover the subject of Intranets,
a function FrontPage is capable of authoring.
In order to understand the basics behind their design,
infrastructure and deployment, we went to the big guns in
the world of intranets:  Intranets.com.

Intranets.com is the world's largest provider of hosted
Intranets for corporations, small businesses, non-profit
and educational groups. They are based in Woburn, Massachusetts,
 with worldwide offices in Tokyo and the Netherlands.

These secure, Web-based workplaces are designed for group
communication and collaboration. Their applications
include group calendars, member and contact directories,
document library, opinion poll, group-enabled task manager,
hosted e-mail, threaded discussions, and more.

Joining us next Tuesday the 15th will be Karen Leavitt,
Vice President of Product Marketing for Intranets.com.
Karen is responsible for overall product planning and
management at Intranets.com. She works closely with their
development group to bring new product features and enhancements
to market quickly.

Karen came to Intranets.com from NewsEdge Corporation where
she served first as director of business development responsible
and later as director of engineering.  In the late 1980s Karen
was with Lotus Development Corporation helping to define and
drive the development of networked products for large enterprises.
