Date: Tue, 13 Feb 2001 12:47:08 -0500 From: John Malloy Subject: Exchange Server User Group: meeting update, and more...] To all Boston Area Exchange Server User Group members: *********************************************************************** In this newsletter: 1. Change of February meeting date 2. February meeting presentation 3. Survey by user group member 4. BostonUserGroups.com *********************************************************************** 1. CHANGE OF FEBRUARY MEETING DATE This month's meeting has been changed from February 22 to March 1. In addition, we will meet in MPR2 instead of MPR1 at Microsoft in Waltham. The date change was necessary due to some unforeseen scheduling issues. Please mark your calendars! 2. FEBRUARY MEETING PRESENTATION This month's presentation will be by Bill Van Loon of icomXpress (http://www.icomxpress.com). The presentation will focus on the basic rules of workflow and how it can be automated by leveraging an existing Exchange infrastructure. icomXpress markets an integrated suite of software, known as the icXpertSOLUTION Suite, for supporting e-business applications in Microsoft BackOffice and Exchange environments. Come and learn how workflow automation provides higher productivity, improved employee morale, higher customer satisfaction, and faster time-to-market. 3. SURVEY BY USER GROUP MEMBER In my previous newsletter, I indicated that a member of the user group was compiling information on best-practices regarding Exchange Server. The member, Nick Nicholson of Marathon Technologies, has posted an online survey and requests that members take the time to fill it out. He will share all results with the user group once they've been compiled. The survey can be found at: http://marathon.rs88.com/servlet/website/ResponseForm?tHHE.26QJoHgnL_zNkOLR 4. BOSTONUSERGROUPS.COM BostonUserGroups.com (http://www.BostonUserGroups.com) is our user group web "portal." Browse the site to get information on a number of local user groups, including a calendar indicating when each group typically meets in a given month.
