This months WebTech meeting will be on Tuesday the 17th, starting at 7pm at the IBM SPC in Waltham. Details and directions, as always, can be found at our website: http://www.acm.org/chapters/webtech. This month's meeting will begin with an election of group officers. There won't be time for any lengthy debates on the issues involved with running a special interest group with a zero-dollar budget :-), but if you're interested in helping out with a good cause, enter your nomination! The feature presentation this month will be on "Wireless Devices, Databases, and Java", presented by Mark Pawlowski from PointBase, Inc. Take a look at http://www.pointbase.com for more information about PointBase. This presentation was given to the NEJUG a few months ago, and was very well received. If you're interested in embedded Java, the wireless web revolution or disconnected computing, don't miss this talk! There will be giveaways, too, so come and enjoy.
