From: Rick Zach Subject: TechNet grand alignment of the planets Date: Monday, October 02, 2000 8:12 PM For TechNet at the Hynes, we will have a grand alignment of the planets in that five Microsoft-oriented user groups will merge their meetings into one Mega Meeting. In fact, we will be collectively promoting the special user group meeting as the "User Group MEGA MEETING". The user groups will meet at 5:30PM lasting to 7:30PM on Tuesday 10-17-2000 in one room. The cross promotional benefits are obvious both in terms of ease of promotion and demographic cross pollination. We are still trying to collect a predicted head count. The combined and confirmed User Groups will be: Boston Area Windows 2000 Server User Group Windows Technical Forum Boston Area Exchange Users Group Boston Area FrontPage Users Group Boston Area Small Business Server User Group (trying to confirm but most likely "yes") ______________________________________________________________________ User Group MegaMeeting Speakers: #1 Paul Thurrott, Online Editor of Windows 2000 Magazine Where will Windows 2000 be taking our companies within the enterprise and over the internet? The implications will touch users ranging from integrated solutions such as Exchange 2000 or single person shops using FrontPage 2000. In the highest tiers of the internet space, how does Windows 2000 compare to it's historically well entrenched UNIX rivals? #2 Axent Technologies To speak about Internet security and firewalls. ================================================================ I will look into USDataCenters co-sponsoring pizza and refreshments for all but I will need to talk to Steve Carbone first. ______________________________________ Rick Zach, President http://www.usdatacenters.com 508-481-0050 x4301
