              SIGGRAPH/Boston Special Event for Members
                     The Making of Stuart Little
                   Tuesday 18 January 2000, 7:00pm

SIGGRAPH-Boston members are invited to attend a special presentation
by executives from Sony Pictures Imageworks on the making of STUART
LITTLE.  As part of an interactive narrative design workshop being
coordinated by MIT's Program in Comparative Media Studies and SPI,
Thomas Hershey, Vice President of Operations; Sande Scoredos,
Executive Director of Training; Stan Szymanski, Vice President of
Digital Production; and Barry Weiss, Vice President of Animation will
discuss their roles in bringing a wonderful digital character to life
and in producing other visual effects for the film.  A screening of
STUART LITTLE will follow the presentation.  Please join us for this
"behind-the-scenes" discussion of a current hit release! Refreshments
will be served.  Admission is free and will be first-come,
first-seated.
